Accounting Administrator

Established Insurance Software Company Powersoft Development Corp in Sooke is seeking an experienced, organized individual for Accounting, Administration and Client service functions. Requirements for the position: 3+ Years of experience with Sage accounting software Must be familiar with Accounts Receivable, Accounts payable, Banking deposits and processing payments on a POS system Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task Must be self motivated and able to communicate effectively to the President and our external accounting firm Excellent computer skills required with knowledge of the most recent MS office products Previous experience with processing payroll and managing ROES, PST, EHT and GST remittances Previous experience creating balance sheets and year-end financial statements Manulife invoice processing and Worksafe BC remittances are also part of the position Keeping accurate records for payroll and AP and AR are essential This is a full-time position possibly part-time depending on the candidate.
