Administrative Assistant – Short Term

We are looking for an Administrative Assistant to join our team. This position is best suited for someone who enjoys working in a smaller sized professional office, gaining experience with a variety of tax and accounting issues and providing value to clients. Clark Trowsdale LLP is a Chartered Professional Accounting firm located in downtown Victoria. We provide tax, accounting, assurance, bookkeeping and consulting services to individuals, businesses and non-profit organizations in the local community. This role is for assistance during our busy personal tax season. Your role would include: - Organize and scan documentation provided by clients - Organize income tax packages for clients - In-person and telephone correspondence with clients - Receive payments - Collect client signatures - Filing - Other office administrative tasks Skills/Qualities we are seeking: - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - Ability to answer phones, direct calls and interact with clients in person - Organized and can manage multiple tasks - Works well in a collaborative, team-based environment - High regard for accuracy and attention to detail - Proficient with MS Office and general computer technology This position is for a contract term from March 6, 2023 to May 1, 2023. Competitive salary or hourly contractor rates available based on the candidate's experience. Possibility to start sooner based on applicant's previous experience. Contract length: 8 weeks Job Types: Full-time, Temporary Salary: $18.50-$23.50 per hour
